Great fun to build and to play with. Overall this is a good model of an excavator, however the boom seems to be a bit weak and the remote control needs to be in different modes to operate the boom and to move the excavator. The motor and remotes also requires 6 x AA and 6 x AAA batteries which is a bit of an ask. Even though the technic excavator has some areas of improvement, nevertheless its is an excellent gift for both children and those young at heart!

Bought this as a birthday present for my boy and he absoulutley loves it . Such a great product to help expand his building and Lego design skills .
My daughter recieved it as a Christmas Present and shes totally in love with Lego. The excavator is proving to be a challenge to build but definately what she needs at her level
