I purchased these speakers as a replacement for the pair of F&Ds I had hooked up to my laptop because I wanted a bit more volume and power. Well I certainly obtained more volume and power with these they almost blew me out of the lounge room without being anywhere near maximum volume. The sound is totally unbelievable it exceeds my wildest expectations. Not only is the volume beyond my expectations, but the sound which emanates from these speakers is clear and a pleasure to listen to. Put quite simply, these are by far the best computer speakers I have ever heard, I can't recommend them highly enough.

The product is ok. I got it for a good price at Bing Lee so it's only of good value to me. When I compare with other brands on display, I find it of good value. Here is what I think about it after using for a couple of months with a TV and PC home theatre system. - The specs seem a bit of a lie. The sound is not powerful enough for something rated at 200 W (probably true at peak but this means a lot of distortion to use at peak). The volume of sound is decent and good enough for a large open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area and certainly plenty for a large room. Also the number of input sources is 2, not 3 as advertised! They count the stereo RCA inputs as 2! That's a lie because you need 2 for left+right as one source of input. You can only connect 2 sources to sound into this unit. - The sound quality is good. While it's not like a real hi-fi system, it's fine for TV. The base is strong enough to have a real party with rock/disco music. - Volume control is manual. There is no wireless. This is expected of a product at this price range. I am happy with it to improve the terrible sound of a TV an it's fine to use it to throw a party and watch action movies. I got these to replace an older, cheaper computer speaker system with limited power. These new ones provide adequate extra volume and bass and serve my needs very well. They are not U-beaut, all dancing, all singing, shake the floor hi-fi speakers, so if that's what you want for $100 (I got them brand new, on special) then keep looking. I like the fact it doesn't use a fiddly little power-pack, it plugs straight into the power point.

I am using the speakers with my TV. I am really amazed with the sound at this price. There is a lot of bass if you like deep sound and the wattage is more than enough for a large size room. The speakers are small and very discreet but the sub is a bit larger however it is still tolerable. Overall, I am VERY HAPPY with my sub $100 purchase
