Wireless Energy Monitor for Smart Electricity Power Meters Watts Clever EW4500
16 February 2020
Easy to install and very informative.
Product is easy to install, with you tube videos to help guide you if needed. A strong signal from meter reader means I can locate it out of sight inside the meter box. The readout screen is large and clear, with useful information displays to help you understand your ongoing electricity usage. There is a lag of ~20 seconds between electricity use and it reporting on the screen. There is a finite repository for historical data, but sufficient to get a handle on your house usage trends. I am having solar panels installed imminently, so this meter is allowing me to understand my current hourly electricity consumption and usage patterns. For example, after only two days, I now have a much better understanding of my actual overnight electricity usage. It's also handy to determine how much power draw each appliance uses.
Update: since having my panels installed, sometimes the 'now' reading reports high for a few minutes when the solar panels kick in to deliver all the electricity being used in the house. However, this can be discerned by looking to see if the cumulative value is changing in a commensurate manner (it does not change if no consumption is occurring), and also if you can see how much output your panels are generating.
Holden VE SS SSV SV6 Commodore Replacement Key Remote Blank Shell Case

Perfect solution instead of buying a new key
I had a Holden Caprice with a kaput remote. Holden wanted over $100 for a new one. Although this ad said it was for a Commodore, it looked like and turned out to be the right size for my key. A quick google of YouTube to see how to disassemble the remote and swap the existing key over to this new case was all that was needed for me to commit to buy. It arrived quickly and 5 minutes later I had a brand new remote for my car. A great outcome!
HDD Docking Station Dual 2.5" 3.5" SATA IDE Hard Disk Drive Dock OTB Card Reader

Works well, a bit fiddly for IDE drives
1 of 1 found this helpful I had some old IDE HDDs that I wanted to recover information from. This unit can accommodate both SATA and IDE HDDs, and can have one of each loaded concurrently. I found one of my old IDE HDDs a bit difficult to connect, as the HDDs have to fit into the docking station, not the other way around. But a bit of gentle pushing got it in and all worked fine. The connection for the IDE drive is a bit more fiddly.
Setup is easy-plug in the power, the USB connection to the computer and of course insert the HDD. Flick the power switch on, that's it!
If you have the great idea of using your old HDDs for spare storage, well you could, but in my case I had <40 GB on both HDDs-I can buy memory sticks bigger than that! So, if I decide I don't want to keep them, then I can use this to do a proper reformatting of the HDD to help wipe personal info before disposal.
UPDATE: After a week or so, the docking station stopped reading the information on the IDE drives, and instead it only sees a disk which it cannot read. After a bit of back and forth, the supplier provided a new one free of charge-thanks!
