Cheap and simple, Nice and compact.
Pro's, Nice and compact, cover with colour coded heat shrink and looks good.
Con's, None. Perfect for what I want.

Very good once you get past the hassle of the app install
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this Christmas 2015, at that time it hadn't been released locally (still hasn't as I write this, Feb 2016). So, trying to install the new app (the old app won't work with the new Chromecast2) was a bit of a pain because Google Aust wouldn't recognise it. Had to go through Google US. The biggest problem, Google kept directing me to Google Aust all the time.
Once the app was installed it all worked no issue. Much better than the Chromecast1 which kept having connection issues.
Even though Chromecast2 isn't available yet and the app was a hassle, I would still recommend it over the Chromecast1. It'll cost a bit more but worth it in my opinion.

Perfect for a home kit. Shop around though.
It certainly not a professional kit, but,
for what I paid, it was worth it for a one time use.
Shop around, many selling for 3 - 4 times the price.
