V/A-All The Young Droogs - 60 Juvenile Delinquent Wrecks: 3Cd Bo CD NEW
29 July 2020
A couple of gems but not much to recommend here.
While the concept is interesting it is painfully obvious why these groups and artists never hit the dizzy heights of glam rock. Some good musicianship is let down by the poor quality of the song. An example of this is Ultrastar by Roccoco where a promising verse is let down by a weak chorus. A couple of stand out tracks are by Australian acts Supernaut and Stevie Wright. Both acts were popular in Australia and don't deserve to be on such a poor compilation as this. The Be Bop Deluxe track as well is excellent. They were an excellent band and hardly obscure.
The Goodies The Complete BBC Collection New DVD Box Set Region 4

Hilarious
You can't go wrong with this box set. For years we had to make do with only a small selection of episodes. Now you can have all of the BBC episodes in one box set. The Goodies are still incredibly funny and subversive.
Small Faces - Darlings Of Wapping Wharf Launderette - Small Faces CD QVVG The

Cockney psychedelia at its very best.
This represents the Small Faces golden period when they moved to Immediate Records and were given room to experiment. The soulful vocals of Steve Marriott make this one a winner.
