Same machine different brands - all good.
This version of an air filter has been around for a few years now. It has a course dust filter at the front, followed by an electrostatic plate collector (both need washing regularly), then there is a disposable filter both Hepa14/Carbon and it's a huge surface area. Then there is a black-light and metal plate designed to kill bacteria. It also has pollution etc detectors. Despite the pollution detectors only showing "one" light for everything in the air, tit's quite good and I am not sure it misses anything. It is VERY sensitive. The detector works. The cost of replacement filters is $35 Australian which considering a micro hepa 14 filter for my Nilfisk vacuum is $80, its exceptional value. If you vacuum your hepa14 filter you get a lot of use out of it. I could easily see it lasting 12 months. The fan on full is a little noisy but out of 5 possible settings including an AUTO which is linked to the pollution detector, the first three settings are whisper quiet. To catch a LOT of dust, it needs to be on full otherwise you will still see the larger dust particles settling. Durability - I was skeptical but my machine is now 9 months old, and it is still perfect. I have it running 24/7 often on Full.
SAME MACHINE DIFFERENT NAMES. I purchased my machine when it was called an ION-70. It is the same unit, same filter size. Just a different badge on the front. Further, the ION-70 was $100 more expensive. If you have the ION-70, just buy a new filter for this model, its a perfect fit.
HEPA. Once, HEPA was all one had to say, now you have HEPA 10 - 15. Hepa 14 is 99.97% of particles. Hepa 15 is 99.999% of all particles. It is very hard to find a true Hepa 15 and the machine would need a powerful fan to pull air through that kind of filter. Some argue that .003% of particles is the stuff you need to filter out - trust me, this filter system works. I have not used others to compare but I have read the reviews and my mold sensitivity speaks for itself. Without this filter my life is a misery. With it - normalcy.

Yep, good crystal salt alum deodorant.
I have used crystal deodorants for years. This one is typical of normal crystal deodorants. I actually found another use for it. I discovered that if I use it in my groin area, it suppresses candida and dries the area out. Im not sure if using an alum product there is a good idea or not but so far, seems good. Who knew !!
