A sharp, light weight lens which is great for portraits.
This is a prime lens with I bought to use in low light conditions and also for the shallow depth of field so the subject is in focus and the background is blurred. When using the shallow depth of field, I have found it useful to set the focus point manually ( check the camera manual for how to do this). The lens is sharp and light weight and great for portraits. It took about an hour to adjust to using a prime lens after using zoom lenses for years and the results were well worth the initial effort. Its a great lens and I am very happy with the purchase.

NEW KitchenAid Accessories Artisan Mixer Pasta Press

Beautiful homemade pasta
The Pasta Press attaches to the KitchenAid mixer and extrudes pasta shapes that you cannot produce by any other method. There are discs for six different shapes. I made the pasta dough in the food processor ( you can also use your KitchenAid mixer) then rolled it into balls about the size of walnuts. The balls of pasta were then fed into the press. Like magic it extrudes the pasta and you cut off the extruded pasta with the built in cutter. This was easy and fun. The machine was much easier to clean than I was expecting. The only potential downside is that the family don't like dried pasta now they have tasted this!

Excellent Label Tape
Excellent Label Tape I have been using the tape for a few weeks and it is just perfect. Prints well and the colours are great.
