52mm Digital High Definition 0.45X Super Wide Angle Lens Macro for Canon Nikon A
05 October 2017
Is ok, but...
For the price, this reducer/macro lens adaptor is OK. I bought it to take wider angled images of the sky at night.
While it does do this, the outer half of every image has horribly stretched stars, whereas the central section is crisp and clean.
It is a pity... The concept is excellent, but the execution was not great.
Still, if spending $1000 on a genuine lens doesn't work for you, you may get something out of it.
New TP-Link Archer VR600 AC1600 Wireless Gigabit VDSL/ADSL Modem Router

Great value modem, runs smooth and fast
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this modem back in September 2016, for my upcoming NBN (FTTN) connection going live. The parcel with the modem duly arrived at the office, and I proceeded to mimic the settings on the incumbent modem. This allowed me to swap them, with pretty much no downtime.
At the time, the ADSL service was still running, and the VR600 picked it up without a hitch.
When the time came for the NBN service to go live... of course, bureaucracy had to intervene. The booking that NBNco arranged, came and went with that wooshing sound that we all know and resent. However, right on schedule, my phone line was deactivated (a first for the big T), so I was left with no ADSL and no NBN. Joy.
This modem has a special USB port in the back, which allows you to add a 4G mobile broadband dongle into it. So I did. And for 6 days, the VR600 distributed 4G internet to 6 computers throughout the office.
Since then, my NBN connection was activated, and aside from a few very minor hiccups, it has not failed me. The VR600 that I have, runs 6 computers and laptops, 2 phones, 2 tablets, 3 VOIP phones and 2 IP Cameras. It gets a little warm, but it hasn't stopped working. Ever.
I highly recommend this modem, and will be purchasing a second one for my home service, very soon.

Samsung 256GB mSATA SSD Solid State Hard Drive MZMTE256HMHP PM851

A proper rush, cheap!
I bought this SSD when my laptop's motherboard packed it in, and I was waiting for a replacement board to arrive.
The board had a slot for this drive, along with 2x hard drive slots, so my laptop now had 3 hard drives in it, with the SSD setup as the boot drive.
What I have gained is a laptop that now boots to the Windows login screen in under 5 seconds. Once past the login screen, it is ready within 10 seconds. Previously, it would be loading software in the background for up to 2-3 minutes.
Over 6 months now, and not even a tiny hiccup.
Recommended, if you have a slot to utilise it.
