OK but not really what I was after
In retrospect I would not have bought this set of scales. Apart from being significantly smaller than the Soehnle unit it was replacing, my wife immediately pointed out the grooves and crevices around the button which over time would accumulate rubbish. The other thing that really surprised me is the sluggishness of the response. Most scales I have used in the past are instantaneous in their response but this one seems to want to sit down and have a think about the result before it eventually makes up its mind. Still it is fit for purpose but I probably should have taken more time and really checked up on the physical specifications before hitting the Buy It Now button..

Good but not quite there
Just received this unit. It was smaller than I expected, particularly the knobs which for me were the main attraction. The base is folded sheet metal and would have been much better solid, but I liked the way the clamps were screwed into place, making them much less likely to move with use. All in all, I am glad I bought it, but it is quite what I expected from the photos. The lens was surprising and its size should be a benefit
