Cheap & portable
Decent quality and very portable. Probe lead is very thin, but does fit into the rear compartment well.

Best budget dashcam you will find.
Great improvement on an already excellent product. I've had an older version of this in my courier car for 3 years, and recently bought this one for my wife's car. (Please note - if you start to get any freezing or glitches, change to a better quality microSD card. I started with a class4, and had some occassional problems. After inserting a class10 card it has worked perfectly for over 250,000km so far.) Mine had already paid for itself many times over when I was hit from behind - something that most dashcams won't record. I had good quality wide-angle video of both front and back, with synchronised timestamps and clear audio from inside my car. Just knowing that I had so much evidence stopped the other driver from making up stories and trying to blame me. He actually stopped shouting and apologised when he realised that we were still being recorded as we stood behind my car! My insurance company has even offered me a discount on future premiums for having so much good quality evidence available if something ever happens again. This newer model is even better - sharper screen, clearer menu listing, faster startup, and better battery life. The motion sensor will also start recording in less than a second of anyone bumps your car while you're not there, and (unlike most dashcams) this one will record based on motion in the camera view even when the vehicle is motionless at intersections or carparks. This dashcam is very easy to fit without tools, with the cable for the rear camera slipping easily under the plastic trim around the edge of the roof and hatch. All the adhesives and cables you will need are right in the box.

Excellent product - works well.
Straight out of the box, plug in, connect, and it just works immediately. No need to run config or wizard, it figures out for itself what connected devices can run at 1000Mb/s and what can only handle 100Mb/s. The device received has a different shell than pictured, but same hardware and current firmware. The included microSD card appears genuine, with consistent speed across its full capacity. Thinking of buying several more.
