A Few Grains of Truth
The grains are large, healthy and produce very well. In this climate I am able to strain and do the second ferment every 12 to 20 hours. A little longer on colder days. The price is great and delivery time quite good. This is my third batch as, initially, I stopped for a while and gave the grains away. Then I restarted and found the kefir to be so popular with friends and family that I began a second batch. I am now producing two bottles each day. I use raw sugar and molasses for added minerals in the first ferment, then add Maple syrup and Organic Ginger Juice for the second ferment. Delicious! Each batch has been of excellent quality.
