OZ Capacity High Replacement Internal Battery 1430mAh For iPhone 4S Free Tools
22 October 2017
You get what you pay for...
I purchased this battery on 11-January 2016. Its performance was average in all that time, but would reduce quickly from 100% to below 20%, but interestingly would last for quite some time on 1% before dying completely. This phenomenon was observed throughout the life of the battery. In September 2017, the battery became pretty bad at keeping charge. The phone has always been kept in a silicone case, and I noticed the back cover of the phone was popping off. I took the screws out and removed to the back to discover why - the battery is swelling up and pushing the back cover off! So I got about 18 months of reasonable/average performance from this battery. For the price, I cannot argue too much. The problem is, there are so many of these generic batteries out there, I doubt that event he guys selling these batteries have little idea as to the quality of them. I recommend getting a free app called 'Battery Life' - try it before you buy a replacement battery - your battery life could be short due to how it's used, not the battery itself. If you have a battery more than two years old, it's probably due for an upgrade anyway. 'Battery Life' will also tell you if the capacity of the battery is as advertised as well. A lot of people are selling 'high capacity' batteries when really they are not. I hope this helps!

Highly recommended as a replacement for your kit lens.
This lens has a similar zoom focal range as the standard kit lens, except this has an aperture of f2.8 throughout the range. This makes this lens a much better choice for shooting pictures in low light, creating portraits with that beautiful bokeh effect (background soft/blurry, subject razor sharp) and for shooting video. The last point is important for me, being a film-maker. Cheaper zoom lenses (like the standard kit lens) start with an aperture of 3.5 and go up to 5.6 at their widest. That means you lose light when you zoom in your subject. Another major selling point for me is the Macro capability. I wanted a macro zoom lens that had a constant aperture. Ordinarily, this is an expensive call with compromises in image quality, but I'm very happy with the results. I picked this lens up on eBay for just $420. On the subject of macro, this lens does not have a macro switch or mechanical means to switch to macro. Instead, it has an extended focusing range allowing you to focus on very near subjects. It's handy, and I like it. It also has a lock switch so if you're pointing the camera straight down, the lens weight won't pull the zoom out. So far I haven't needed to use this. I believe Sigma has discontinued this lens, but I can strongly recommend getting one if you can find one. The newer replacement seems to have dropped the macro in favour of optical stabilisation. I guess you can't have them both! Sigma's build quality has improved tremendously over the years, making them even better value. I have a Canon 60D, and equivalent Canon lenses are far more expensive. Yes, the build and image quality of the Canon lenses is superior on most counts, but you get much more bang-for-buck out of the Sigmas these days. As usual with Sigma EX range lenses, it comes with a quality lens case and hood. My ONE tiny complaint about this lens is the angle of the focus ring - it's only about 45 degrees. This means that when focusing manually, it's harder to fine tune accurately. Then again, this IS a wide-angle lens, but a focus angle of 90-180 degrees would have been nicer, and friendlier to follow-focus systems for film-making. At this price though, it certainly isn't a deal-breaker.
