An entertaining movie of 30s up-and-coming stars
This is a good movie, chock full of '30s up-and-comer female actresses, some of whom fared better than others in the world of celebrity. The dialog is quick and entertaining. The women are generally catty, as we would expect, and occasionally mean, but they generally supported each other.

Zober metal cascading or individual pants/skirts hangers are great.
2 of 2 found this helpful I prefer these individual pants/skirts hangers because you have an option of cascading them or of hanging individually. Each has a hook either to hang maybe a belt or to hang another hanger. I use these hangers to hang pants (and used to do skirts). I line dry my pants and they are heavy when wet. Some of the pant hangers I've purchased in the past haven't had strong clips but these do. I am VERY pleased with my purchase. As for value, of course the shipping is included but if you take into account the gas required to drive from store to store to find these, it's fine.

Kaiser waist cincher stands (all sizes)
3 of 3 found this helpful I highly recommend these Kaiser waist cincher doll stands; for this size for the Barbies, the larger size for Gene and other contemporary15-16 inch fashion dolls, AND the "Betsy McCall" size for the Riley Kish crowd. I prefer the waist cincher stands even for Ken because there are some out there that don't cinch -- they are made for dolls with wider torsos (generally baby dolls), and they don't hold Ken as well. The posts on these can be bent a bit to accommodate the curvy dolls and the cinchers can be bent as well. I will advise, however, that some people do not like them when the fashion (dress, outfit, gown, etc) is the main point, since they can break the line of the fashion. There are some fashions where a sweater or top or dress can be over the cincher and it's not seen. I also sometimes put felt on the base, which helps with sliding if the shoe sole is smooth (but more on the larger sizes than on the Barbie sizes.
