Always been a reliable good quality rollie paper, decade after decade
Very good value. I've used these papers as my primary rollie paper for the past 30+ years. Another more popular brand was once made in my country but is now made in Belgium and the packaging is incredibly poor - so poor the papers are often damaged when taking out. This gives me double the reason to stay with Ventti papers for the longer-term. Ever reliable. It also works out economically when compared to buying in supermarkets who refuse to sell the boxes at any discount.

Seems to do a very good job
Out of two brands of charcoal filters I've tested, this one definitely has my thumbs up. I generally use these filters as the final stage of a combo-filter so it filters out chemicals standard filters and sometimes combined with a tar filter are unable to filter out. Many people are probably unaware of the multitude of chemicals tobacco produces when smoked that are quite poisonous. Carbon filters help to add that extra level of filtering to subtract from these gaseous toxins. Better to be safe than sorry for long-term smokers. OCB charcoal filters appear to give a smoother smoke.

Like a few other people, I do wonder why there are holes through the filter. The one thing I noticed about this filter is it introduces a slight taste; it makes me wonder what and why such a chemical is reaching my taste buds. It's almost the slightest hint of menthol or something. It's still early days for my testing of this filter. I use it as part of a double or triple filter for my rollies and generally represents the final part of the combo-filter. All the same it does appear to give that slight extra filtering, some chemicals of which are not filtered out by standard filters and might be tasteless.
