Well made but too quiet
I've had it on my bike for a week. Not once have I seen anyone visibly respond when I ring the bell. I can only just hear it myself against traffic noise, and I'm right on top of it. My hearing is perfect, btw :P It's too quiet! It looks cool, but that's all it does. Sorry Knog, I wanted to like this product.

Be careful putting in coins, note small size pockets with no variation
Generally well made, but already one pocket ripped while I put a coin in. It's also too small for many of my coins.

Not as bright as I expected, but solid and effective
I bought this because it was highly rated in a Choice review, from memory. It's not as bright as a $15 light I bought from Kmart, which is a bit disappointing - I thought it would be at least comparable. The button on top is quite stiff and hard to push - takes two fingers sometimes and makes it feel unresponsive. The large number of modes is nice, although I only ever really want two of them - you can 'memorise' one, but not two, so moving between my prefers spot mode (i.e. on bike paths, parks etc) and flashing (traffic) is difficult. The metal enclosure and general build feels very solid. However I didn't realise before purchasing that it doesn't require a charge cable - there's a male USB jack behind the rubber block on the back of it - which is ok when the USB socket you are plugging into has plenty of room. Feel a bit nervous about this, like it might get broken while charging and that's the end of it. But we'll see how tough it is. Generally ok, would expect more brightness for the money, but otherwise it's fine.
