Great Camera Upgrade
Great camera but not for the beginner. I started with a Canon 1000D. As I have many EF-S lenses I didn't want to jump to a full frame yet. The 7D seems to be the same quality as the 5D and 6D but with the APS-C sensor. Build is great. It is much larger and heavier than the 1000D but that is to be expected. It's old and packed with features. Image quality is excellent. JPEG, RAW or Video on any of my EF-S lenses look great. A low shutter count on a 7D will always be a great purchase and not something you will regret. I do recommend that you master some of the technical basics on an entry level camera (like my 1000D) before buying one of these or you may find that your pictures are no better when left in auto mode.
