Traxxas 1/10 Slash 4X4 Brushless RTR Short Course Truck w/ TQi / OBA / TSM FOX

It is perfect as a ready to race RTR car. If you are just getting into hobby RC and don't know your way around building your own this car (RTR) is for you. It has plenty of traxxas upgrades and a plethora of after market parts and upgrades due to its popularity. the drive shafts are prone to failure but they are cheap to replace. I have upgraded to steel drive shafts only to find a pin falls out and it spits the drive shaft. The plastic hub carriers break if you hit something hard enough but only cost $4 to replace, I recommend an ally upgrade. One of the best things is you can customise it and make it your own, the setup can be changed with high ride height for jumping and bashing low stiff for track etc. springs can be changed different rated oils in the shocks etc. The control module allows for different speed settings including %50 reduction, this is great as you learn how to drive the car. I recommend fitting a cooling fan to the control module. although it can take 3 cell lipo I would use 2 cell and it should last longer ( I have never replaced a motor in 3 years of using every weekend). the traxxas Stability management (TSM) is brilliant and really does work very well. And finally who can argue with 500 hp bursting through the sound system haha magic.
