Maybe I just got a bad one! Previous unit lasted about two years before packing it in!
2 of 2 found this helpful The cover plates on control knobs were loose in the box and won’t stay in they just fall out if inserted in centre of the knob but this does not effect the operation of the unit. The left knob is quite firm to turn I have only used the bigger plate on the left a few times however the no’s on the knob have almost worn off and I have only ever wiped the unit with a damp sponge at this stage. I have not needed to use any spray cleaners as I have not used it much yet ! I did have one of these units previously for a couple of years before the large plate went just recently which is why I had no problem ordering the same brand as for the cost I had been fairly happy with my original purchase but not looking to good so far with this unit as I will have to guess heating because I can’t see the no’s on dial anymore!
