Good value but comes with advertisements & not full Android
Nothing comes for free and this pad certainly rings true because the screen saver is full screen advertisements that you can't turn off. As well as this it is a nobbled version of Android so no access to the Google play store only the Amazon App Store that frankly is a joke. The pad updated as soon as I turned it on and I can't jail break the new system. I did manage to side load Google play store and it was only of moderate difficulty so only the techno illiterate will struggle doing this. Now that I have a variety of my purchased apps from Google loaded I am pleased with this unit. If you want to personalise your tablet then don't buy this one because Amazon is part owner and will advertise freely and there is nothing you can do about it. They will also attempt to control the apps you load and if I had not managed to get around this then owning this tablet would have been intolerable and a waste of money.
