Fantastic product! Exceeded my expectations.
As a beginner very amateur photographer in training, I was recommended this lens, by a friend, who said this macro is every bit as good as the 50mm but with a little extra range. And I am so pleased he gave me that advice. The Tamron is every bit as good, if not slightly better, than the canon lenses that I always buy. I would definitely recommend (and have done so!) this lens to anyone wanting a portrait lens.
